About
I am an information designer, civil engineer, and graphic designer driven by a passion for combining technical precision with creative thinking. I use data to shape clear, engaging narratives, delivered in a direct and approachable voice. Aesthetically, I like to experiment with various mediums and push the limits of visualization. My unique combination of technical expertise and design training allows me to approach projects with both analytical rigor and creative insight.
Education
I hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from McGill University, where I specialized in water resources. After 12 years of professional experience working as a civil and water engineer, I chose to expand my creative perspective by returning to school to study graphic design. I earned a Graphic Design diploma from Concordia University and further enriched my education through continuing studies at OCAD University in Toronto and The Cooper Union in New York City. I started drawing with Wendy McNaughton's weekly classes in 2024 and haven't stopped since. I am also complimenting my data analysis training with a Tableau certification.
Tools
I mainly work with Excel and Tableau for data analysis, and occasionally QGIS or ArcMap when a spatial analysis is needed. I like to ideate on paper, then move on to Illustrator, Photosthop and InDesign for the creative aspect of my work.
